| https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6RU5y2fU6s Let me get this straight... they're making an action movie with: Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Bruce Willis, Arnold "Get To The Choppa", Micky Rourke, and then guys like Steve Austin and Randoy Coutoure (and I'm sure there's one or two other big name stars I'm forgetting)... At what point do you just have random fights and explosions and say to hell with ANY kind of storyline or script? | |

| Yeah but they still make some illusion at a plot... like this is supposed to be about a group of mercenaries fighting in Mexico or something. I say, just have the whole movie of them in a huge battle royale. | |

| It's not your dad's pain. It's Chuck Norris-induced pain.

| There's only two things worse than this movie: Chuck Norris and people older than 14 who think Chuck Norris jokes are funny. | |

| So, it has been brought to my attention that the brutal honesty of my "interest", or lack thereof in seeing this movie may have been over the top. As a sort of peace-offering I will constructively give my movie recommendation: The Secret in their Eyes. (El secreto de sus ojos) It is one of the most mind-bendingly awesome movies which has a love story(2 of them), mystery/crime solving (better than any episode of CSI), and jarring violnece mixed with a even more revolting glimpse into the depths of inhumanity. It's really, exceptionally quite excellent. And, whether it's the result of, or just a perk - it's a foreign film. (subtitles warning) Oh and, it won best Spanish language film at the Oscars this year. By far the best film I've seen in 2009 or 2010. (read: better than Avatar, Ingorious, etc.) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1305806/ | |

| I hardly ever see movies anymore. There just don't see to be enough that come along that I think warrant me spending $12 to see just once. The odd film I'll see in a weekend matinee where it's half price, but even those come maybe once or twice a year. Otherwise I wait until it comes out on DVD or something | |

| Okay. Let me just say that Ahnald is my BLEEPING GOVERNOR. Yeah, remember that state with more debt than most countries? He runs it. What the HELL is he doing in a movie? Ahem. Yeah, I'm not so much going to see that one. If nothing else, I want to keep The Governator from getting any more of my money. | |

| Maybe he's gonna use the money he'll make to help pay off the debt? | |

| HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Though to be fare, even if he did it wouldn't matter much. Even a movie star doesn't make THAT much money. Like I said, we have more debt than the GNP of most small countries. Unless Deathklok pitches in, pretty much the only hope is to get rid of the more asinine restrictions on business. | |

Otherwise I wait until it comes out on DVD or something I'm the same. Unless there is a movie out that I really want to see I usually wait for the dvd. | |

| They are making a sequel to this movie. I'll admit, it was a little short on plot, but blowing shit up in an action movie is always good. I can't wait for the sequel. | |

| I'll give them some credit: there was a much better plot than anyone was expecting... I'm looking forward to the sequel. I really enjoyed the first one. I wonder if Arnie will have a bigger role now that he's not saddled by that massive debt... LMAO | |

| I loved this movie! Ok, so the plot wasn't the best but hey! It was enjoyable, fun, and kept my attention for the whole time which for me is a good movie. Plus it has Randy 'The Natural' Couture... one of the best UFC fighters ever and a lovely lovely man | |

It was Expendable! | |
