| I saw Angels & Demons last night. I have not read the book it is based on, but I thought it was a very good movie. It kept me interested right up until the end. I have heard that the endings are different however, though, of course, I don't know in what way they are different.
I am next going to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in theatre at the end of the month! Very much looking forward to this one.

| The last movie I saw? I don't remember... Might have been Star Trek, and that was awhile ago. Haven't focused a lot on watching movies lately. | |

| English translation, dude. It makes us non-Kanji reading Americans feel more at home. Actually, there's a kanji/English translator out there somewhere, if I can find it... LOL | |

| Mononoke was a great movie. Studio Ghibli at it's finest.
Glad you loved X-Men Nicci. Now you have to see X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand & X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Then you will be caught up!

| Taken was also the most recent movie I saw. I love Liam Neeson, and he did brilliantly in the movie. The movie itself? Fast-paced, but slightly lacking in the plot department. I mean, the French are clearly lazy, but would they really let hundreds of Albanian sex slavers run around Paris packing guns? I don't think so. | |

| Princess Mononoke is an amazing movie! If you love the people who worked on that, then watch Grave Of The Firelflies. Terrifically sad movie, based on true events. | |

| Pretty much anything from Studio Ghibli is golden.
The live action version of Hotaru no Haka (Grave of the Fireflies) is pretty good too.

| I've never actually had a chance to see the live action version, though I have heard it was very good, as you also just mentioned. | |

| I don't know much about it, but it's pretty much about life after either the bombing of Nagasaki or of Hiroshima. Supposed to be an incredible anime, and apparently a decent live action flick, as well. | |

| It is about the lives of two children as they endure life through the fire-bombings of Japan. It shows how cruel in some way sthe Japanese epople were to those left homeless and orphaned by them as they tried to ignore the bad around them. It is based on some events in the life of the Writer I believe. Very sad. I recommend not watching if one is depressed. | |
