Movie: Your Highness

Yet another 90 minutes of my life I can never get back.

This movie fails on virtually every level possible - to the point that even the scenes of topless women weren't enough to make it worth watching.

Some of the worst writing in history and acting that I can only assume was that bad on purpose. Special effects were mediocre at best.

The only "saving grace" for this entire movie was the Set Design & Wardrobe. It seems to me that this was the only part of the movie that actually had a budget that allowed them to hire professionals.

I thin this movie was supposed to be some sort of parody/comedy/satire abotu other "Medieval Quest" type movies ... but it was so horrible I'm not even sure that was their intent.

Rating: 4/10 ... and there's 2 full "bonus" points in there just for Set Design & Wardrobe since they stood out so much against the rest of the disaster that this movie was... without that, this movie would be 2/10.

Well damn, I was hopeful for this movie. Slightly anyway. LOL

Any movie that can include Natelie Portman in a thong and still not be worth watching has done something almost unique in the movie industry...

I was excited about the movie when I first saw the preview, as were my friends. But when it first came out NO ONE we knew that saw it, liked it, and it was panned by critics and review sites. So disappointing...

I'm curious, what got you excited about the movie? When I saw the previews it looked incredibly stupid--just a vehicle for sex jokes.

I figured he'd answered it back when he mentioned "Natalie Portman" and "thong" in the same sentence. Does their target demographic need any more information to want to see this movie?

I'll have to find the preview again to remember everything, but the one that stands out was near the beginning of it when the evil wizard guy walked into the castle and said he'd steal the princess, the Prince said something like "and how will you do that?" and the wizard said "Magic... *cricks neck* mother fucker!"

I laughed at that for a week

But... I'm not the one that mentioned Natalie Portman in a thong... Sad

She was quoting what Dinwar said in response to my post, and I responded quickly before thinking through the sequence of quoted posts and responses. I'm a busy man, and can only devote what little thoughts I have towards so many things Razz

I think DuDZ took one too many hits to hte head with his hammer.

Which, incidently, may be yet another answer to my question.

Also, AWESOME picture, Talonn! I need to post that on my cubical wall.

Hey I never had a hammer. I had an axe.

Oh right... the ban hammer. Forgot about that.

I'm pretty sure he took too many hits with the axe. I can see the brains oozing out the gaping wound above his left ear.

This movie was awesome. I think you guys just need to find and turn on your thirteen year old brain before watching. Then... enjoy.
