HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I can make PUMPKIN SOUP!!!!

One of the MANY GREAT talents of rainshadow!!!!!

Seriously, it's the first time I've tried something without knowing what I was getting into. And it's pretty tasty! Not sweet (maybe a little), but the flavor is quite nice!

My favorite dish is probably green bean caserole, but this soup (okay, I made it so I'm biased) is an interesting new twist for rainshadow!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!!!

Wow. I had forgotten how epicly enthralling the Wheel of Time series could be. In many ways, this book went back to the same level that the peak of the series was at around the 6th book.

I'm hesitant to lay the credit solely at the feet of Brandon Sanderson and say that he is a better writer than Jordan is, since Jordan was of course the one to take it to that peak level through the first half of the series in the first place. Yet at the very least, I can honestly say that Jordan and his ...

A glorious movie despite the title, but not for the faint of heart as there are more than a few explicit scenes of gore and violence. It more than makes up for it in the sheer ridiculousness of the humour portrayed, though it also has a very real and serious storyline to it and more than a couple real 'dark' parts.

It's not just about Pitt and his group of "the Bastards" going into Nazi occupied France and killing all of them in as gruesome a fashion as they can (reminded me ...

Where to begin... Morrell's career has spanned three and half decade, ranged across two major genres, and participated in network television, short stories to novels to comic books. David Morrell is one of the thriller genre's biggest names. I suspect many members here have not read any of his work, much less heard his name, but I can guarantee every one of us knows his most famous character - Rambo.

David Morrell began his astonishing career with the publication of First Blood (1972), ...

I've always felt the starring actors really didn't meet the standards I expected, and the directors always left out parts I thought vital to the story. I heard people say that key elements were left out of this one too, so I naturally entered the theater with low expectations.

As the movie began, and the actors began to retake their roles, I felt the same hollow performances I'd seen in previous movies, particularly from ...

The Elfstones of Shannara takes place approximately two generations after the events of Sword. The protagonist, Wil Ohmsford, follows in his grandfather Shae's footsteps in becoming an unwilling participant in a quest directed by the mysterious Druid Allanon.

This book is considered his best in the series by many of Brooks' fans, and for good reason. The ...

Has anyone else played this game? I absolutely love it! I was a fan of the first two games and really appreciate the improvements that have been made for this one. The biggest and most noticeable improvement is that you are now able to travel outside of your home. Your Sims can go visit friends at their homes, go grocery shopping, go to the gym, the bookstore, etc. It makes things a lot less claustrophobic since you're no longer staring at the same house the whole time you're playing. It turns out that Robin Cook is right up my alley. Not so much in the sense that I am a brainiac when it comes to the medical world. It would almost be a stretch to say I know the difference from an ingrown toenail and a charley horse. However, Cook has a way of explaining the medical world to the average joe, all the while weaving his vast knowledge into crisp, engaging storylines.
